Nice to see people pick up and run with this game as much as they do with other larps. Keep up the good work lets see this game grow.

How many people made it out to the first game? What did everyone do when the rain fell and then the hail?

We had 12 People out...
3 Packs worth...
Everyone played we just took it under some cover... the hail lasted for maybe 5 minutes, and then we just continued, it cleared up quickly and everything was dry shortly after.
The food was great, the people worked well together and against each other, and everyone had a good time...
Cheers,
Aaron

Not to pat myself on the back, but I think the apology at the end of the game was a cool reminder / introduction to some of the concepts behind harmony. At first glance, it may not make sense why a werewolf would have a hard time wielding silver against an Uratha foe, but having everyone together like that at the end was a reminder that, for good or bad, we are all part of a unique family.

Very much fun, and some good laughs. I can't wait for the next game. Cam had fun too, and is willing to think about coming out again if we need him.

It was a great first game. I think it allowed the packs to become more established. I am excited about next game, to see what unfolds.

Here here.... It should be fun... I will likely have another social coffee meet up... not for playing but getting to know each other... if people are interested... First game was a blast... hope to have more out next time... though I am afraid of how THAT combat will be like..

I would love a social coffee meet up to get to know the other players, I kinda wish all the larps would have something like that once in a while so everyone could get to know each other out of character. I find it alittle sad that i have been playing for a few years now and still don't really know alot of the people I play with.

I hear you. I moved to Calgary not too long ago and I still don't have many friends here. Until recently, I basically knew my roommates and some nice people I saw at larp once a month. lol.

The game was incredible, except for some ghostwolf that shot poor Alex with silver. (tsk tsk)
I can't wait for more people to come on out however. I think when the numbers get higher the chance of mass combat will lessen. Right now both sides have a chance of taking out the other and establishing dominance in the city.

I took part in a chronicle that met every week. It was great in the fact that if you missed one it wasn't long before the next, but the story lacked depth sometimes from game to game because of the short notice for bringing in new information. Of course, sometimes life doesn't change much from week to week so I guess it was pretty realistic in that aspect. I particularly loved how he woud bring npc into the game for gossip purposes to bring characters backgrounds into play. walk in light and love, Kimberly

oh no dont get me wrong here! I believe 1 game a month is great because of the time spent on planning the story and everything. I just love it so much I wish it was more often. It is but a minimal price to pay to get a great game
