As much effort as we've been putting in to finding a location, it would appear our first choice, in Bragg Creek has fallen through...
Secondary to that, the secondary location I had was double booked and they sent me a letter with a refund....
Im trying to find some way to scraping something together...
Cheers,
Aaron

What about Nose Hill park, Fish Creek park or Bowness park?
Apparently Bowness has some cool spots in the back and firepits all over, but it's first come first serve. But no reservations means no cost. There are some covered fire pits. If we take the farthest spots from the enterance it gives us more privacy.
Fish Creek is far south, but has many sites. If we take the farthest spots from the enterance it gives us more privacy.
Nose Hill has holes and no fire pits, but it's a location.
*brainstorming from Bernie, Connie, Ryan and Kimberly.

I live right next to Nose Hill Park. If worse came to worse, we could use my place like a pit stop if needed and play there.

Basically, we don't need a huge ground that we don't cover. We need a fire pit and if possible, a grill that will serve as BBQ. A table would be nice and chairs. After all we don't run accross fields or anything like this. We just need a nice cozy place.

I like the suggestions and yeah I think Nose Hill would be best for now.. it is a wide open space though... I would like people to bring lawn chairs if possible, or collapsible items...
And I will announce it now..
Cheers,
Aaron
